Walk with your dog through the town past the historic courthouse and on (just a few blocks) to the levee along the Sacramento River and into the State Recreation Area. Local wildlife refuges are also dog-friendly, and there are nice places to eat with outdoor seating in easy walking distance. Jay House comes equipped with linens, kitchen ware and all amenities including a special dog cupboard featuring pet dishes, treats, bed, sheets and towels. Nice fenced yard too. A fun get-away in an undiscovered and totally unpretentious small-town destination!
